American Massage Therapy Association
 

            This site defines the standards for massage therapists, 
            provides information on regulation of the massage field and 
            offers a national directory of massage therapists.



National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

            This organization administers the national, standarized exam
            for massage therapists.  The site provides a database of 
            nationally certified practitioners as well as general information.



California Massage Therapy Council

            The CMTC is the licensing body for massage therapists in the
            state of California.  Their site provides consumer information,
            including a search mode to determine a therapist's credentials.






Cortiva Institute

            A national group of massage schools.  Their Chicago location
            was originally The Chicago School of Massage Therapy, where
            I received my intital training.


International Training Massage School

            ITM, located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is teaches Nuad Bo-Rarn,
            the ancient style of Thai massage.




KeKumu

            KeKumu, "the source", is a Center for spiritual growth, healing,
            prayer, and education, providing traing in the ancient healing
            methods and spirituality of Hawaii.








Beyond Bodywork

            Dave Towe is a nationally certifed WATSU practitioner. Watsu is
            a passive form of aquatic bodywork/therapy that supports and
            gently moves a person through warm water in graceful, fluid
            movements.




Stretching: 30th Anniversary Edition

            Of the many books available on stretching, I have found this to
            be the best and easiest resource for myself and my clients.





Jonathan Wallace Studio
      
            
            Many people have inquired about the artwork that is in my
            studio and home.  The paintings are the work of Chicago artist
            Jonathan Wallace.  His site provides a look at many more of his
            creations.
